This article shares users’ experiences and challenges when actually using AI APIs. The author currently uses a combination of Claude and ModelScope Qwen. Although they provide a 2000 token daily quota, the models themselves have strict limitations, with the actual available amount reaching only a few hundred. Additionally, OpenRouter’s free plan offers even less, leading users to seek more stable, large-scale, and reliable alternatives. This discussion reveals the technical limitations of free AI APIs, providing valuable practical insights for developers and AI enthusiasts that help optimize resource allocation and choose more efficient tools. The article emphasizes the need for stable, large-scale free AI APIs, reflecting current pain points in the AI service sector.
