This article shares a Buddhist scripture translator project based on the DeepSeek API, implemented purely on the frontend, addressing the issue of inaccurate handling of Buddhist terminology by general translation tools. Through carefully designed prompt engineering and a built-in database of 50+ Buddhist terms, the author achieves high-quality translations of Buddhist scriptures. The article provides detailed technical implementation details, including caching strategies, XSS protection, and API call optimization, while also sharing challenges encountered during development and their solutions. The project features a framework-free, zero-dependency design, making deployment simple, with users bringing their own API keys and no server costs. The code is open-source for developers to reference and learn from, demonstrating the practical value of AI in specialized domains.
