This article shares a developer’s hands-on comparison when using the CC tool. While using the minimax coding package, the author found that the standalone CC application caused Python environment crashes due to conflicts between numpy and torch versions. After switching to the VSCode CC plugin, the operational experience became much smoother with significantly reduced lag. This experience reminds developers that when choosing development tools, IDE plugins sometimes provide a more stable experience than native tools, especially when handling complex dependencies. Although brief, this article offers valuable insights for developers who frequently use Python, torch, and VSCode.
